Future of Africa Children's Charity (FACC) is a child-focused charitable organization established to support vulnerable children and young people in Rwanda and, as our capacity grows, across Africa.

Our work focuses particularly on children experiencing poverty, hunger, homelessness or street-connected circumstances, barriers to education, inadequate access to healthcare and other forms of vulnerability.

Our purpose is simple:
Every Child Deserves a Future.

We seek to provide immediate assistance while also helping children access the protection, education, healthcare, skills and opportunities they need to build better futures.

  • Food and nutrition assistance
  • Support for children experiencing street-connected circumstances

  • Digital and life-skills development
  • Youth empowerment

Legal Status

FACC operates in Rwanda and is being established as a charitable/common-benefit organization.

Legal registration status: Rwanda Governance Board (RGB). Governed by Law No. 058/2024

Registered office: Kigali/Rwanda

We will publish official registration and legal-personality information once issued by the competent authority.

This distinction is important because under Rwanda's foundation framework, a foundation obtains legal personality after registration.

Our governance structure will include appropriate oversight of programs, finances, safeguarding, human resources, risk management, partnerships, monitoring and evaluation, and donor accountability.
