1. Governance & Organizational Policy
Purpose
This policy sets out the governance principles that guide the work of FACC. It supports responsible leadership, sound decision-making and a clear commitment to children and communities served by the organization.

Governing Body
The governing body provides strategic oversight of FACC and is responsible for:
- Approving organizational strategy
- Approving annual plans and budgets
- Monitoring organizational performance
- Overseeing financial management
- Ensuring safeguarding
- Managing organizational risks
- Reviewing major partnerships
- Monitoring compliance
- Appointing and supervising senior leadership where applicable
Management & Accountability
Management is responsible for implementing approved strategies, programs and policies and shall report regularly to the governing body.
Conflict of Interest
Board members, management, employees and other decision-makers must disclose actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest.
Accountability
FACC shall maintain accurate records and provide reliable information to donors, regulators, partners and other legitimate stakeholders.
2. Donor & Fundraiser Account Policy
Purpose
This policy establishes clear accountability and transparency for donor and fundraising accounts used to support the activities of Future of Africa Children's Charity.
Account Holder
The designated donor/fundraiser account used in connection with FACC fundraising activities is held in the name of Fabrice Hategekimana.
The account holder shall act in good faith and in accordance with FACC's mission, policies, applicable laws and approved fundraising purposes.
Use of Funds
Funds raised on behalf of or for the benefit of FACC shall be used solely for legitimate organizational, charitable and program-related purposes consistent with FACC's mission, approved activities and donor restrictions.
Funds shall not be used for personal purposes or for activities unrelated to the stated charitable purpose.
Financial Accountability
FACC shall maintain appropriate records relating to funds received and, where applicable, funds transferred or spent for organizational purposes.
Where fundraising is conducted through an account held in the name of Fabrice Hategekimana, records should distinguish between:
- Funds raised for FACC
- Funds belonging personally to the account holder
- Donations subject to specific donor restrictions
- Approved organizational expenditures
- Transfers made for FACC programs or activities
Transparency to Donors
Donors and legitimate stakeholders should receive truthful and accurate information regarding the purpose of fundraising, the intended use of donations and, where appropriate, the use of funds received.
Separation of Personal and Organizational Funds
Whenever reasonably practicable, personal funds and organizational funds should be kept separate and clearly documented.
